A day in the life: Jamie Murphy’s kindergarten

Visit our district Facebook page to take a look at a typical day of learning in Jamie Murphy’s kindergarten at Philip J. Schuyler Achievement Academy.

On Friday afternoon, students were hard at work at their guided reading centers, developing their letters and sounds through a series of hands-on activities. Students then moved to the carpet for a group story about how friends help one another, before returning to their tables to practice their writing.
