The City School District of Albany Board of Education confirmed the following administrative change for Philip Schuyler Achievement Academy on Thursday night, part of district-wide staffing reductions caused by devastating anticipated reductions in state aid that could total as much as $23.2 million for the 2020-21 school year.
The assistant principal position held by Emma Steckman was eliminated at Schuyler in the reductions. Steckman will transfer to North Albany Middle School to serve as its new assistant principal, effective Sept. 29.
