Philip Schuyler Achievement Academy recognized its last class of fifth-graders on Friday at a moving-up ceremony in Bleecker Stadium.
Class president Tha Way Aung and vice-president Maida Mohsini addressed their classmates, thanking faculty, staff and their families for the support they received in elementary school.
The new sixth-graders will attend William S. Hackett Middle School in September.
On July 1, the school’s name will change to Roots Academy at West Hill.
Best wishes to our newest middle-schoolers!
