About our school
Here at Sheridan Preparatory Academy our mission is simple: teachers, students and families should always expect the best. Our goal is to help students achieve academic success and reach their fullest potential.
As a full service community school, we provide our students with dedicated supports, both academic and social-emotional. We are also proud to offer medical and mental health services within our building.
With our unique designation as one of the City School District of Albany’s community schools, we are able to expand our reach to our families and surrounding community. Community school programs provide academic enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities for our students, support the growth of our families and allow our community partners to have a meaningful impact.
