Stacey Randolph has retured as home school coordinator at Sheridan Prep as the City School District of Albany begins to strategically rebuild its staffing and programs.
The position is among 74.2 faculty and staff members the district is adding during the third marking period as it expands in-person opportunities for general education students in grades 7-12 and begins to restore supports for students across all grade levels.
In September, this Sheridan Prep position was among the 215.6 positions the district reduced when faced with the possibility of a 20% reduction in state aid due to the COVID-19 economic crisis. The district also is planning to rehire additional faculty and staff for the fourth quarter, which begins April 26.
Randolph has been a district employee since 1991 and the home school coordinator at SPA since 2017. We are excited for his return and, as you can see by the smile under his mask, he’s excited to be back, too!
