They’re readers and they’re leaders!
On Friday, four Tony Clement Center for Education high school students read books to kindergarten, first-, third- and fifth-grade classes at Sheridan Preparatory Academy.
Clement students TyShawn Edmundson, Kiana Mullin, Talan Parker and Keysean Ward are part of Clement’s Guest Readers Are Leaders Program. Twice a month, they visit Sheridan Prep, reading and discussing books – each with a social-emotional learning theme – with the younger students.
Sheridan Prep students loved hearing from and talking to the Clement students!
