Spooky STEM rules!

On Wednesday, students and families at Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology immersed themselves in Halloween-themed, hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math at Spooky STEM Night.

Costumed kids viewed the heavens through a portable planetarium, saw a snake and axolotl up close and personal, took part in Lego challenges, operated Bee-Bot robots, made creepy Oobleck goo and much more! Students from the Albany High School Robotics Team also were on hand to show TOASTers how their competition robot works.

The event followed a trunk-or-treat event in the school parking lot that was sponsored by the PTA.
