"Color run" is tons of fun

Group of children run through colored powder

Students got to know each other better on Saturday morning as they ran through a rainbow of colors at Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST).

At the school’s “color run,” families enjoyed covering themselves and each other with colored powder before they took off for a trot around school grounds. As they ran, teachers on the sidelines flung more colorful powder at them.

The color run was an initiative of the TOAST PTO, ENL teacher Caroline Espinoza and STEAM coach Jacqueline Lappe. You can tell the event was a blast by the smiles on the faces of the multicolored runners!
