Public Board of Education meeting

The City School District of Albany Board of Education will meet Thursday at Arbor Hill Elementary School, 1 Arbor Drive.

Those wishing to attend in person are asked to wear a mask and observe social distance guidelines of six feet as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The board will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. seeking community input on a proposal by Albany Charter Leadership High School for Girls to open a middle school program starting in the 2021-22 school year. 

The regular board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Topics on the agenda include:

• 2020-21 Reopening plan
• Community recognition
• Adoption of the district priorities

The meeting will be recorded and the audio will be made available after the meeting.
