City School District of Albany
Parent training: Homework survival skills
The City School District of Albany will offer a live virtual training to help parents and guardians who struggle with getting their child to complete their homework.
All families are welcome. The training may be of particular interest to families of children living with ADHD, autism or challenges that make it difficult to focus, follow directions and handle emotions.
Registration is required, and you can sign up here.
Participants who attend will learn:
- About the challenges associated completing homework;
- How to create routines and environments that support successful homework completion; and
- Strategies and tools that support homework.
Anderson Center Consulting & Training will conduct the training for the district via Zoom.
