Parent University: Behavioral Health Services
This online Parent University session will highlight our partnership with Northern Rivers Family Services which assists our district in providing school based behavioral health services.
A team of clinical social workers, mental health counselors and psychiatric nurse practitioners provide mental health and crisis response services throughout the district at certain schools.
The team works with district staff to identify students in need of social emotional support and work to reduce barriers to accessing treatment.
Services such as individual and family therapy models are provided at the school and when needed tele-health is available.
