Best Buddies Virtual Friendship Walk

Take a virtual walk for acceptance, inclusion and friendship on June 20 by joining the Albany High School team taking part in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk. You can register here.

Donations -- which will support the Albany High program -- are appreciated but not required.

Albany High’s Best Buddies program is all about socializing and having fun. Its mission? To build friendships between students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. The group meets every Tuesday after school to hang out and enjoy themselves and each other’s company.

Interested the virtual walk? All you need to do is photograph yourself walking in your neighborhood and post the picture on Instagram on June 20 with the hashtag #albanyhighbestbuddies. If you’re not one for Instagram, please email your photo to tgiglio1@albany.k12.ny.us.
