Financial aid info night for seniors, families

Attention Albany High School seniors and their families: The Guidance Department will provide an overview of the college financial aid process at a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

Families will learn about the following topics:

• The process and timeline for completing FAFSA – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid;
• Expected family financial contribution;
• Loans;
• Grants; and
• Work study.

Students and families will have a chance to ask questions of the presenter Miguel Alvarado, assistant director of financial aid at Siena College.
