Financial aid info night for seniors, families (11/14)
Attention Albany High School seniors and their families: The Guidance Department will provide an overview of the college financial aid process at a Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. in the library.
Families will learn about the following topics:
- The process and timeline for completing FAFSA – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid;
- Student aid index; and
- Sources of financial aid (loans, grants, scholarships, work study)
Students and families will have a chance to ask questions of the presenter Mary Lawyer, associate vice president of enrollment at Siena College.

The Guidance Department will be hosting sessions in January to help students and families complete FAFSA and Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications.
