Albany High School
College financial aid form help session
Completing college financial aid forms can be overwhelming, but the Albany High School Guidance Department is here to help.
Guidance will host two working sessions for families needing assistance completing applications for the Free Application for Student Aid, or FAFSA, and the Tuition Assistance Program, or TAP – both of which help determine whether a student is eligible for college financial aid.
At the sessions, families will connect with a professional financial aid counselor who will take them step-by-step through the FAFSA and TAP applications.
Registration is required. Sign up here using your student login, and you will receive a confirmation email verifying your appointment time.
Please note: Both the student and parent or guardian must create a Federal Student Aid ID number at least three days before starting the FAFSA application process. Link to create a Federal Student Aid ID and get a checklist of documents you’ll need before the appointment.
For more information, call or email your school counselor. The second session is Feb. 15.
